They are much more durable than the flimsy plastic used in most other squirt guns, and their water reservoirs have nice screw-on caps that don't leak! If you shop around, you can also find great prices on the simplest models, which are some of the best in the line up.About the Super Soaker ELECTRO STORM (shotgun) model: This is a very nice gun for young kids. My two-year-old daughter loves it and can hold her own with much older kids because the trigger is easy to pull and the gun itself, even when full of water, is not too heavy. It takes 4 AA batteries and shoots a steady stream out to about 12 feet. If you hold the trigger down, it will shoot a continuous stream for 32 seconds until the reservoir is empty.
