My son loves to play with this toy all the time. It is easy for him to pull the lever back and to reload the darts that came with the toy. (The darts stick to glass and other smooth surface toys too!) The darts, if the guns angled at 45 degrees, will shoot about 30 feet. This is a good distance for a seven year old. The toy can be used in the house due to the darts being soft foam and rubber.
